In locations where there are a smaller number of campers coming, we can’t afford (as a not-forprofit organization) to employ numerous counselors for only 15 campers.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD COMES TO STEM CAMP AND DOESN’T LIKE IT AFTER THE FIRST DAY? DO I GET A REFUND?
No, the costs for the activities in our camp are quite high, and we cannot afford to offer refunds under these circumstances. We suggest that the parents evaluate their situations closely prior to enrolling their child in the program, however, refunding is not an option to us for various reasons, but mostly because when the parents enrolled their child into the program, another child’s opportunity was taken. Besides all the information we offer in our online platforms, an introductory day will take a place for the parents and kids to know what they need to. Children often focus on one thing during the day that they didn’t like, but in fact, they had 10 other positive things that occurred. Another suggestion would be to discuss the situation with the Camp Director on the location, as there are always more sides to the story.
